workin' hard

I started my internship today. It wasn't much and there's virtually no structure. Some people may like that, but I rather like to know exactly what I am supposed to do and how I should get it done. They say pets and children need structure too because it helps keep them stable. I don't think I could do the do whatever you want kind of work. On the other hand, I am an artist and am happy for my freedom there. I just don't think I would do well in say school for example with out a structure of some kind. I think that's what makes free time such a luxury. Ah well, I really can't complain; internships are usually good things and they look fine on resumes. here's a random thought--something I'm known for--does anyone ever wonder why pickled cucumbers can be shortened to just pickles, but something like pickled peaches aren't?
