A Post To Willy

That is to say, william Shakespeare. I've always enjoyed shakespeare, and because I always had the privilage of listening to his plays on tape rather than reading them like the rest of my class, I always felt like I understood better.
So recently I decided that I really should try reading more shakespeare. I'd really love to see more plays too, but Shakespeare in the park will help me out with that one. I was on a friend's blog earlier today and was inspired to make another page for the Shakespeare I will be reading over the next little while. I'm excited for this! So my page is up, go see it! And please excuse the lack of prettiness and spelling, I will be fixing those as I read and blog on. =D
And on a completely unrelated note, I really wish screen writers would stop using weather so much for affect. I mean I know it's effective, but It's snowing here and then we had sleet and a thunderstorm and I am pretty sure My stomach did an olympic not. But I am ok now ... It's just different.

Weather Weather Weather

Woooo, hi there, crazy bit of weather we've been having here. We've had severe thunderstorm warnings, crazy rain and even a hurricane warning. It is June after all though, so this shouldn't be that surprising.
So I made it! This will be my fiftieth post, and I've now been blogging for a year last Wednesday. Ok, so that is a bit sad considering, but hey o well.
Friday night/Saturday morning my good friend Running Slippers and I went out to the beach and sat through the thunder storm. Yes, we really are crazy because it was freezing and we both got soaked. We also had hail; actual hail about the size of small marbles. I've never been out in hail before. It was lots and lots of fun though and I think my clothes are nearly dry by now lol.
Then on Saturday I went out to a friend's house for a Pampered Chef party. I had never heard of Pampered Chef before, but it seems to be kind of like Mary K for cooking. lol :D I didn't buy anything, but the stoneware was pretty cool. I think perhaps someday I may invest in a pizza stone hahaha! I eat pizza enough; it is the happy food of my soul. :0)
And then of course to top off the weekend this morning I went to church. Tomorrow my mom's taking me to the science museum. I can't wait! I really hope I sleep some tonight.

Ole Ole

Aaaaaaaaagh! It's not only hot, but it's hot hot hot! It's almost 9 o'c and firefox says it's still 70 degrees. bla! The AC at work stopped working, but I'm usually so cold up there that I hardly noticed. I'm almost sure I'm going to melt and become a puddle of a girl It's funny because when my superviser read me the 2-week forcast it pretty much said rain thunder rain thunder rain rain thunder thunder or some such order. I think we're having a heat wave or something; it probably should thunder, hot as it gets..Seriously, where is the good old ice cream truck when you need it? I remember the one that used to come by my house when I was little used to have pizza. I wonder if it still does, or if any other ice cream truck gives out pizza in addition to frozen treats. I hope it gets cooler soon, although I doubt it will any time. It feels like living in a pastry. Happy summer! enjoy the heat, and make sure you stay hydrated and buy an ac or at the very least a fan.
