Boiling Ideas

O my gosh I know what I want to make next. Well actually I've got a nice piece of black fur that I'm trying to decide whether to make a cat or a scunk with. I am leaning toward scunk since I've made cats before and already have a black one. All this however, is beside the point. I've got a new idea and it just now hit me. Because it's so hot and I don't have AC I've been keeping my windows open and can hear all the crickets. Then it hit me, I want to make a stuffed cricket! I've never made a stuffed bug before and it could be fun to try. The best part would be if I could get it to chirp. I do have cricket sound effects on my computer, but short of recording it--which would probably make for horrible sound quality--I wouldn't know how to get it on to a button. Well, I can worry about all that later, as I am not even sure I have all the right matterials yet. Other than that, there hasn't been much to report of late. have a nice night, and listen to the crickets when you go outside!

Sun and Pillos

Well, I've now been on pain pills and muscle relaxants for a few days and I pronounce that they are bad news. But of course I knew they would be. I told that silly doctor that pain pills don't effect me, but do they listen? So anyway, I am pretty much laied up in bed until my presents is required elsewhere. ... You know, I think I may even have pulled something lifting my computer lol. The muscle relaxants just made me numb then my legs were stiff the next day. The first night I could've howled it bothered me so bad ... but shhhhh musn't let the neighbors know there's anything wrong.
lol, but enough of this sadness and pain. I need a new sewing project to do. I am thinking I may do another dragon, nut that there is anything wrong with my hugo. I'd just like to see, plus I still have these green cat eyes that might look cool. O! and I now have this clay I am trying out that is supposed to feel like stone and I have pin backs. I shall have lots of fun this summer. :D

Lots To Do, Lots To Do

First order of business tomorrow I have got to take a test that I had to have postponed because of an equipment issue, over the weekend I am going swimming with the after school group and on Tuesday I am taking the second of my major field tests. I also need to fit two papers some research and a continuation of my quest for duct brand ducttape in there. I am so very glad that my major paper has been moved to Thursday. Ah well, such is the life I really feel bad about complaining and try not to.
Tonight My mother came by and brought me a new bag. It is a lot nicer than the ones I am used to having and hopefully it will last longer. between all the change from my wallet and the keys with everything on them but actual keys my bags just can't hold up for very long. Prior to tonight I had been using my backpack. It has already ripped once, but I managed to sew it up and so far it had been working fine. It is just too big of a thing to be carrying around especially on Sundays to church or when ever else I want to dress up nice or dress light. Sadly though I will not as easily be able to carry Eddie around, But I think we can manage somehow.

hi again

So I am very pleased to report that my snow leopard is finished ... though, long since by now. It is finished none the less. Today is very cold out and firefox is saying it is 16 Degrees out. brrrr we also had a mini blizzard, and when i say mini, i mean it litterly lasted no more than five minutes.It was very random, sometimes i wonder about those things. In any case, i am currently working on a story that i am considering posting on here when it is finished. We will see how it all goes. ttfn and keep warm in love and coco!

Crafts OnA Winter Day

So now I've moved on from making a kitten to a snow leopard--most appropriate i know. Unfortunately I did not have the best pair of scissors.Also I did not have any paper either so i had to make up my own pattern. It was kinda fun, but the whole time I was affraid I would mess the whole thing up. At present however the side profile is looking not too bad. I've sewn up the back and now i need to either make the tail or start on the legs. more later when I'm further along. happy solstice

Catching Up

Well, I've been gone for quite awhile haven't I? Nothing much has happened at work, and the people who are holding my writing machine still have it which makes me very unhappy. On the bright side however, I am nearly done with my kitten. I've decided to go with green eyes instead of blue and i'm actually still waiting for those,but they should be coming tomorrow. yea! I got a bit anxious after awhile and turned the kitten rightside outso that his fur is showing. I have to say I'm quite happy with him so far and the paws came out nearly perfect.So now he sits on my bed awaiting eyes, then I can stuff him.
My fourth of July weekend was actually nicer than it's been in awhile. i went out with a friend of mine and since it was such a nice day we staied out and found some fireworks. It turned out we could see the ones from Bostonand we had the Boston Pops concert playing on the radio. I love the Pops. I got to dance with Kieth Lockhart once, it was very cool.but the best part is that summer is finally here. Of course this means that the mosquitos are out and that it's hot and sticky out, but I'd take that over all that rain we had. Mississippi can have all our rain, we got too much.
I've got no other projects going aside from my kitten byut i do need to get working on a certain seal. and now I should probably try sleep, something i have not been able to acomplish in weeks. Happy Tuesday!

Promise Her Anything ...

I am now convinced that no one knows what they're doing. That's why no one can tell me and want me to make it up. Every time I mention something I find interesting I've found on one of the websites I'm all day, they say, "maybe we can do something with that." I had the assistant director suggest we travel to KY when i said that the American printing House for the Blind had a museum there. All I could tell you about this job for the moment is that I'm raising public awareness.
I'm thinking I should break out the furs soon; actually I've got too very nice furs sitting across the room from me right now. One is a project I need to finish for a friend--though I may have to start over again. somethings sort of got misplaced during all the moving and packing. the other is for someone else who asked for a pug. I've made a pug before, but if she wants it actual size, I'll need to look up the right measurements. I don't suppose anyone has a pug they'd be willing to let me hold for awhile? :} It should keep my mind on other things.

Sun Patch

Today I found a patch of sun while I was walking across the living room floor. Naturally I curled up and lay in it; soking up my vitamin D. It made me think of cats and dogs and how it must feel to have the sun warm their fur. My sun patch moved, more's the pitty, but I'm still warm from it. No wonder cats spend so much of their time lying in the sun. I think i want to write something on that subject. Hmm, I wonder should I make a cat now or something else? I've sewn cats before, but I've always wanted to make one with stripes or spots. Guess it depends on what fur I have in my bin right now. I'll try and put the pic here ifI end up making it.
